Getting there by a boat is pretty slow but relaxing, these ships will only leave in October as tourist ships don’t risk it outside of this month.

The tourist season is only four months long in Antarctica-from November to February. 

The rest of the year is not only very cold-as low as -50 degrees Celsius-but also dark most of the time. Even if you could stand the cold you couldn't see anything! During the dark time going there is no mean to go to Antarctica because you wont be able to see
